Music Memories

We all know those songs. One bar of that song and memories flood back. Music seems to hold so much for each of us, different memories, but the same melodic trigger. It's that time of year when we think back and forth. The past is the past, wheather good or bad, and that's where it has to stay. It holds it's place in our minds and in the music. We can play it back when we like, or we can shut it off completely. It just takes some work and some wisdom.

The future though. So many songs to come. So much music to make. Sure, we'll get off key once in awhile, but it's a  gift to be able to go there. Take it day by day and live in the constant hope and mercy each new morning brings. Hope is what gets us through the hard parts, and as long as you are here, there is always hope. So be here. Don't let January keep you in the past or in a dark future. Make January a melody of hope, beautiful and bright. Play those hopeful songs and make them great memories.
